Our 90+ corporate partners are asking us to measure our campaigns and be able to report back to them as a form of stewardship. Through Accelerist, we measure social influences, how many people are talking about the campaign, and other meaningful data points. Our partners love it.

More than 10 million kids enter a children’s hospital across North America every year. To provide the best care for kids, children’s hospitals rely on donations and community support, as Medicaid and insurance programs do not fully cover the cost of care. Since 1983, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has helped fill those funding gaps by raising more than $5 billion, most of it $1 at a time through Miracle Balloon icon campaigns. Its various fundraising partners and programs support the nonprofit’s mission to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.

With over 90+ corporate partners, many sustained for over 30+ years, CMNH knows a thing or two about stewardship.  Check out the recent webinar with Clark Sweat on how keeps partners coming back for decades.  Every organization defines stewardship just a little bit differently. They make it their own. They include activities that are both common to the fundraising sector and unique to their nonprofit at the same time.  It’s hard to come up with one single definition of what the word means, or create best practice tactics that work for everyone.
